Candidate Trump ran on a peace initiative. President Trump has strayed from that promise. I am not a US citizen, and am no fan of Greens nor Leftists, but from I hear, a big chunk of the MAGA base is against this war in the Middle East.

His politics are irrelevant. What's relevant is that the government suppressed someone's speech when that speech didn't support its agenda. Those Senators hypocritically point at "procedural rules" as their excuse for that while resolutely ignoring their own responsibilities under the supreme law of the Constitution. For decades they've done nothing as president after president violated the Constitution's requirement that only Congress can declare war. That's far more dangerous to the republic than a citizen getting loud in a meeting. So is their immediate resort to naked brute force over a procedural rule. And there's something wrong with being a pro-Palestinian activist? There's supposedly some-thing wrong with standing up against people being genocided and/or mass-murdered in Gaza to the tune of at least 600,000, more than half a million, HUMAN BEINGS (of course the writers of the false propaganda and history downplay it to between 70,000 and 80,000, about ten percent of the true number---look at the pictures of Gaza and think about it, the place was flattened, a place of two million people was laid to almost complete waste, now don't you realize that the number of victims has to be much higher than claimed)? I don't agree with him being Green since he's obviously duped by the "climate crisis" fraud to be a part of that, but most people are duped on that topic, or at least most "Americans" are. We're living in madness increasingly, and some people have got to throw their bodies into the gears and seek to stop it! So, who are YOU to support mass-murder and genocide?
