IMHO, Congressman Chris Smith's press conference today raised more questions than it answered. Please watch the recorded video and express your opinions.
This is of particular interest to me because I once ran against Chris Smith for his seat in the House a lifetime ago. I'm surprised he's still in office. It's good that this conference took place. A lot of alarms raised, but a couple years late.
Dr. Brad Wenstrup declares, at 15:25, that "our top priority should be health." He's wrong. Our top priority should be freedom. And there should be no compromise on that, even if people are dropping dead like flies all around us.
The discussion regarding reforming the WHO and vague references to other health authorities is just a bunch of hot air. These institutions are unavoidably malevolent and deserve nothing less than complete obliteration.
The discussion of sovereignty is just more hot air. Already state and local governments around the country are proposing and adopting laws, rules, and regulations that include following the lead of the WHO. So although technically the WHO does not usurp our sovereignty, as a practical matter it does. This follows the same pattern of responsibility denial surrounding the CDC's vaccine schedule. The CDC does not mandate anything, but states and localities rely on the CDC's "expertise" to issue their own mandates. When these mandates backfire and kill and maim thousands, the CDC says, "It's not our fault! We didn't mandate anything!" And the state and local governments say, "It's not our fault! We just followed what the CDC said!"
Calling the pandemic agreement a "treaty", does nothing. Saying that a treaty must be approved by the Senate, and that if it isn't so approved, it is of no force and effect, is wrong, for the mechanism that I outlined above.
One underlying assumption driving the discussion is the potential for another pandemic, completely ignoring the fact that there are no pandemics. There was no pandemic in 2020, and there was no pandemic in 1919. Pandemics are one big lie used to justify tyranny. Just as climate change is one big lie used to justify tyranny.

I heard much information, but what I walked away with is that elected officials were out-voted with regard to protecting the people they represent. If elected officials are sworn by oath to protect and serve against domestic or foreign enemies and their vote expresses otherwise, they should not only be censured, but charged with treason and that definitely should be made public. I don't understand why charges for not upholding an oath is not addressed and part of the conversation. As for how the WHO is operating, it is just too obvious. My wife of almost 55 years and myself have both had the dreaded CCP virus twice (Pos tests), the first time at the age of 72 and the second time at the age of 74.
