Hello James,

Bills similar to Idaho S1287 are awaiting action in several other state legislatures. Michigan and South Carolina are among these states. Also remember that Florida passed a law last year prohibiting the state's governmental and education institutes from adopting public health policies and guidelines unless the state government authorizes them to do so. Here is contact information for the committees those bills are sitting in right now:

Text of Bill: https://legiscan.com/TN/text/HB2795/id/2910852/Tennessee-2023-HB2795-Draft.pdf (It's12 pages and is quite broad, but one of the definitions of federal action is "making or enforcing of a treaty". Tennessee's legislature is in session until April 25.

For those worried about "binding international law" with respect to the World Health Organization's Treaty and IHR Amendments, remember this from Federalist 33 by Alexander Hamilton, the strongest proponent of federal power:

"But it will not follow from this doctrine that acts of the large society which are NOT PURSUANT to its constitutional powers, but which are invasions of the residuary authorities of the smaller societies, will become the supreme law of the land. These will be merely acts of usurpation, and will deserve to be treated as such. Hence we perceive that the clause which declares the supremacy of the laws of the Union, like the one we have just before considered, only declares a truth, which flows immediately and necessarily from the institution of a federal government. It will not, I presume, have escaped observation, that it EXPRESSLY confines this supremacy to laws made PURSUANT TO THE CONSTITUTION; which I mention merely as an instance of caution in the convention; since that limitation would have been to be understood, though it had not been expressed."

Also remember this from Federalist 46 by James Madison:

"On the other hand, should an unwarrantable measure of the federal government be unpopular in particular States, which would seldom fail to be the case, or even a warrantable measure be so, which may sometimes be the case, the means of opposition to it are powerful and at hand. The disquietude of the people; their repugnance and, perhaps, refusal to co-operate with the officers of the Union; the frowns of the executive magistracy of the State; the embarrassments created by legislative devices, which would often be added on such occasions, would oppose, in any State, difficulties not to be despised; would form, in a large State, very serious impediments; and where the sentiments of several adjoining States happened to be in unison, would present obstructions which the federal government would hardly be willing to encounter."

Follow up today, 02/22/24. After testifying via zoom phone on this bill, I called Senators NICHOLS office phone number given to me by Idaho State Capitol Information office. 208-332-1432. She is spear heading S-1287. Received an out of order recording. Dialed again this time on my phone keypad. Same result. Called info number again(208-332-1000. Operator knew nothing about why Senator Nichols office number was out of order. Checking further she gave me another number for Ms. Nichols, 208-917-2409. I believe this is her mobile phone number. I called this morning and left a detailed voicemail asking about the disposition and status of her bill. Clearly requested that she call me. As of this afternoon at about 5PM . I have not received a response. Tomorrow I’ll be back on the trail and every day until I get the information I have asked for. Just have to say I appreciate my fellow Patriots here🇺🇸

Probably posting this in the wrong section, but, wanted you to see UK Government response to the petition - https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/648609

Petition

End the UK’s membership of the World Health Organization - 103,101 signatures

"The Petitions Committee decided not to debate this petition", even though the requisite 100k signatures were surpassed.

Democracy is dead.

Thank you for posting.

I received my response from our Parliament's Petition Dept. this morning and I've been enraged ever since.

Not only was it a negative decision for no really good reason but I found it curt and dismissive. As you say, democracy is dead but, until I am, I shall continue to seek ways to bring our treasonous elite to justice.

FROM SENATOR NICHOLS: Unfortunately, the committee (minus 2) killed it in the committee.

MY PERSONAL COMMENT - NOT THE SENATOR'S: So everyone who lives in Idaho and is displeased by this - please ring your representatives non-stop to let them know your displeasure. And time to vote those who don't represent your voices out of office. Don't give up. Good people are building momentum. Let's help it grow.

Just saw this. Thank you. I’m still following up with Senator Nichols to get it my self “right from the horses mouth.” Will be contacting my district representatives about this issue. On the trail like to a seasoned Bloodhound.

Wow. Okay, I gotta regroup myself and get back into a positive frame of mind.

Thank you, KD, for posting. I had just emailed Senator Nichols as well, and then saw this, your most recent post.

Perhaps the Senator will reply to me as well - not that I expect a different outcome.

Hope you have a good evening!

Listening and commenting. Everyone is in favor of this legislation. Save two commenters who don't think the bill goes far enough in terms of body autonomy and freedom. Although they do support article 1. thank you.

although comments are not yet done - most in favor, some additional coomentors do not think the bill goes far enough.

Hi KD. Did you just hear as I did that the motion has failed, in that it will not go to the floor with a "do recommendation" for passage?

Rather confusing.

17 testified all in support, with a few stating 1287 doesn't go far enough. There was a move to send 1287 to the floor, it was seconded, the Chairwoman took an Aye/Nay vote which I could not see on the screen, and then I believe I heard that the motion failed.

Expand full comment

I heard the same thing..failed. I am so confused. Will be looking for clarity.

Me as well. I'm very disappointed. Actually, feeling crushed right now. :(

Let’s see what others know. Could have misunderstood what the decision was?

KD on the thread just posted that she has written Senator Nichols for clarity. I will do the same!

Expand full comment

I could have misheard but I believe I heard that the motion will be sent to the floor with a recommendation but perhaps I hung up before the vote was taken. Could someone else please confirm?

Expand full comment

It's so strange, even when the Chairwoman took the aye/nay vocal vote, which was not visible on screen, it sounded as if there were more ayes than nays to send it to the floor.

I really hope that I misheard her say that the motion failed (to send it to the floor with a "do Pass" recommendation.)

I don’t understand our country. Will our states be able to opt out of WHO? Isn’t that ludicrous? So if that happens the monsters will allow some states to opt out until the state changes its governor or legislative branch to liberal or democrat and then the state becomes a WHO compliant state. It’s a ploy. It’s ridiculous! it must be all or none. Our country is divided way too much now. The WHO catastrophe plan is salivating for our country’s demise as they plan to lock us down or lock us up for not following their laws.

Can we just say NO? To everything.

Expand full comment

Yes I think that we just say no, over and over and over again, regardless of any laws that are made or not made.

I emailed my support of 1287 to all Senators this morning, as well as to their official account for their committee. Will be watching this afternoon!

I will be watching too. Good idea to see their body language, expressions and demeanor…speaks multitudes 🇺🇸

Topic: PLEASE VOTE FOR Senate Bill 1287 to prohibit the CDC and the WHO from having any jurisdiction in Idaho!

Message:

PLEASE VOTE FOR Senate Bill 1287 to prohibit the CDC and the WHO from having any jurisdiction in Idaho!

The Covid-19 pandemic's military style countermeasures ripped the Band-Aid off the tyranny and lack of scientific integrity of the previously trusted World Health Organization (WHO), United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Unfortunately, these organizations have proven categorically that they can no longer be trusted. The problems and conflicts of interest in these organizations have long been festering, but only recently came to light.

Idahoans who cherish their state sovereignty and their bodily autonomy SUPPORT S1287, prohibiting jurisdiction in the State of Idaho of the WHO, HHS, and CDC. With this amendment to Title 39 of Idaho Code, our state will retain its sovereignty and our citizens will remain free to control their own health and welfare.

I strongly urge you to SUPPORT AND VOTE YES ON Senate Bill 1287!
