How is this better than any of the other platforms? They require ID in order to recommend you. I'm currently on FB without an ID, and I get recommended.
Facebook controls what you can see and what others may see when you post (shadow banning,). They own your content, monetize it and keep it all to themselves. I have been locked out of my Facebook account for over two years after a decade of effort. You cannot say whatever you want without fear of censorship on Facebook, X, Instagram etc.
I get it, and I have plenty of criticism of FB. But one thing FB doesn't make me do is give them my ID in order to get into the game. That's a hard line that I won't cross.

They can eat 💩 and die before they'll get my ID! Bottom line they target conservatives and VPN users. I have a vpn for when I'm in public...not using my own wifi. Funny how all these MAJOR companies get hacked, but peg me for protecting myself! So, I wonder how he will deal with Regulators ( say OFCOM in UK ) if The UK Politicians or OfCOm doesnt like what you have posted & seeks ID from the Social Media Company ??? The problem with Pickax was that I could not copy and paste articles over from my folder of completed posts - some of my posts are very complex in their presentation, like some of yours are and without the facility of copy and paste, I won't be posting anything on Pickax, unfortunately.

And my condolences re. FB. I haven't been locked out, but I've been suspended and shadow banned many times, and it's awful.
