As far as I remember Australia wanted two of them, now US and UK park eight of them around our shores.

I hereby declare: that the AUKUS security partnership is dissolved on the grounds that it does not have any legitimate lawful authority, because it lacks the seal of approval of the majority of the Australian people, making the A component of the partnership null and void.

Further to wit, henceforth and so on: since all public servants' engagement associated with AUKUS constitutes a waste of precious Australian resources, including the paper needed to produce reams of useless scribble, those responsible will have their personal liability assessed on a pro rata basis, and money will be deducted from their salary until their liability is discharged.

This serves to remind all public service employees, of their obligation to consult their employers before they presume to act on their behalf, especially in the national security arena.

Fancy money laundering. Who is going to man (woman) these subs if they all get vaccinated get sick and some die? Experienced and older men and women are leaving defence. Can we trust the training of a teenager to drive these things?

Even if AUKUS has problems, if they don't start doing something the Western Pacific will come under CCCP control.

If it looks like a parliament/congress, but smells like a pigsty, then it is probably full of pigs.

OZ and US have many pigs in the house serving their puppet masters, not the people.

Who rules - the bulldog, the kangaroo or the eagle?

In a fight who inevitably wins in the end?

On its face it look’s innocuous enough. I for one imagine that many of his “responsibilities” have been delegated. I read the text but don’t understand the ominous tone of the inference. Are we concerned that the debilitated president punted his authority to the debilitated SecDef? Are we concerned that this was done in order to spend taxpayer money wildly and unaccountably or are we afraid that there is sinister intention to “gift” nuclear subs for rogue elements to conduct nefarious activities?

I dont know , but it looks like it doesn’t need their approval. Looks like it was “delegated” like something on his to-do list.

So, the Deep State Bureaucrats and the UK an Australia have been given all the powers that dementia-impaired President Biden could give them? After this, what's next?

In principle, I disapprove. In practice, it terrifies.

One would think the US were still a UK colony. and one with lower rank than others, good only for sucking away US resources.

And just how does this work long term? Will we learn in future that the UK or Australia has given these resources over to Netanyahu as foreign aid/assistance? Or maybe even used these resources against Americans should there be domestic unrest in America at some point? Or am I too many squares ahead on the Rip-Off gameboard?
