Thank you for your message. Yes, I would like to join the UK Stop ammendments group but my computers are too old to have WhatsApp on them. I am not very experienced with that sort of thing but would really appreciate updates on developements over the WHO Pandemic Treaty. There has been supposedly a special meeting in either EU or U.N. on 18-20th Sept but we hear nothing about what happened there. Not very democratic.
I have been sending loads of links & my great concern of the silent intention of our government even considering signing this WHO Pandemic Treaty to my local MP David Davies but he doesn't seem to understand the danger we are all in should they refuse to exit from this treaty. He doesn't realise that he too will have to obey any ruling the WHO's treaty implements.

Covid-19 has had a significant impact on every aspect of society in Scotland. It has so far killed 17,289 people in the UK alone and has affected individuals and communities, public services, and the economy beyond belief.
It is therefore right and proper that lessons are learned at a global level and that our response to future pandemics is an interconnected and as joined-up as it can be.
Scotland’s preparedness for the pandemic is a significant area of interest to the public.
The UK Government has confirmed that it supports a new international legally binding instrument to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness and response and is in charge of making representations during the Treaty’s negotiations.
The UK Government, and indeed the SNP-led Scottish Government, are committed to strengthening pandemic prevention, preparedness and response and as such supports a new international instrument.
The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, joined other world leaders calling for a pandemic treaty in March 2021.
The Scottish Government has set up the Standing Committee on Pandemic Preparedness that will be a permanent advisory group to the Scottish Government, established to bring together scientists and technical experts to advise the Scottish Government on the future risks from pandemics and to ensure we are as prepared as it is possible to be for these.
This would also help Scotland improve resilience and be better prepared for other emergency situations that require urgent and coordinated action across public services and society.
In January 2023, World Health Organization Member States had yet to begin negotiating the instrument text but the process for developing this new pandemic instrument will be led by the member countries of the World Health Organization, including the United Kingdom.
The current target date for agreeing the text of the new instrument is May 2024 at the World Health Assembly (WHA).
The instrument would become binding if and when the UK Government accepts it in accordance with the UK constitutional process.
The statutory procedure for ratification of any new treaty is set out in the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 which provides a mechanism for the UK Parliament's statutory role in the scrutiny of treaties.
UK Government Ministers have confirmed that the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office will provide Parliament with updates as appropriate.
The UK would remain in control of any future domestic decisions about national restrictions or other measures and would be subject to Parliamentary approval.
On the 17 April 2023, in a House of Commons debate entitled “Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response: International Agreement” MPs across the House shared their views and questions were responded to by Anne-Marie Trevelyan, a Minister in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. She said:
As covid-19 clearly demonstrated, it is in all our interests to invest in global health. The world was ill-prepared for the pandemic, which killed millions, wiped billions off the global economy and undid years of progress on our development goals. The three years since covid struck have been a wake-up call for the whole world. They have highlighted the importance of strong, resilient and inclusive health systems and have made clear that we need a co-ordinated approach across our work on human health, animal health and the environment. Covid also shone a spotlight on the need for agreed international protocols, so that information is shared in a timely fashion.
She spoke of questions of sovereignty in her response, and I would consider reading the full speech, but she touched on the fact that in-built into the Treaty would be “the ability of each member state to accept it through their own national constitutional processes”.
SNP MP Anne McLaughlin’s contributions are worth reading in their entirety but reiterated our Party’s support in this debate saying:
“The latest draft of the treaty from 1 February 2023 starts by:
“Reaffirming the principle of sovereignty of States Parties in addressing public health matters, notably pandemic prevention, preparedness, response and health systems recovery”.
There are no proposals to change that, and the healthcare policy, even in a pandemic, would remain entirely a matter for sovereign nations to decide. The World Health Organisation would be able to make recommendations once a global emergency is declared, but they would just be recommendations. Contrary to what others have said, they would be non-binding.
The treaty would not require Governments to act on WHO instructions, nor would it require anyone to sacrifice sovereignty. Rather, it would enable Governments to plan together, detect pathogens more quickly, share data more broadly and respond more effectively to the next pandemic.
Those concerned about the impact of the WHO’s involvement are perhaps unaware, or have forgotten, that the UK already implements the WHO’s international health regulations” and with impressive results in disease eradication.

Thank you for your message, and I do appreciate the effort you took in outlining your position.
You reiterate various official lines, and you state aspects of government process which are obviously factual.
However your understanding of the spike disease, their origins and impacts is, in my view, belief rather than evidence based, and your trust in the way the public health system from WHO down to NHS functioned during the so called pandemic is touching. You might as well trust Westminster, the UN and the United States to manage all our affairs in the best interest of the Highlands.
In that trust, and in the context of these matters, you and I are clearly on very different planets.
I am a long term supporter of independence, and have twice voted SNP in general elections. However, having reviewed the party /government record on land use management, land reform issues, and now covid response, I feel quite unable to do so again.

I am very concerned about many of the issues raised by the government covid response, vaccine damage, and the proposed new pandemic treaty and regulations. I hope that you too are researching and using critical thinking on these issues?
My belief is that the WHO is unredeemably captured and compromised and therefore rather than sign up to a huge extension of their powers we should withdraw altogether.
By reforging public health policy based on a more evidential and long proven approach to epidemics we would increase resilience, reduce economic impacts, and start rolling back the burden of NHS domination by the pharmaceutical industry and its co- conspiritors.
This would have the additional great advantage of allowing GP and hospital medical practice to revert to its proper and legal footing with regard to the Nuremberg convention and their Hippocratic oath of responsibility.
What are we seeing, seeing is believing, is the influence coming from an outside source, does that influence hold true to Fundamental Laws, Freedoms and the Nuremberg Code, or have they no Conscience?

Covid was horrifying enough with the purposeful fallout from the lockdowns and poison jabs, (do they think we are all fools?), but to seek to have an unelected person deciding what a pandemic is (a cold perhaps???), deciding how to deal with it...more destructive lockdowns...one person, or even a small group having such authority, and also having the power to decide what sort of treatment should be dished out to an uninformed public, is insane, comic book, wishful 'I want to rule the world' thinking...NO THANK YOU!!!!!
