Dr. Abdullah Assiri, the co-chair of the Working Group for the amendments to the International Health Regulations (WGIHR) said something that I believe is absolutely unacceptable.
“Prioritizing actions that may restrict individual liberties… are… necessary during a pandemic.”
I hereby call for Dr. Abdullah Assiri’s removal from his position as co-chair of the WGIHR on grounds that he publicly displayed a disturbing lack of respect for the fundamental freedoms and the unalienable rights of every person on earth. This is not acceptable.
