An Israeli-U.S. company [Stardust] proposes spraying up to 22 BILLION pounds per year of amorphous silica into the stratosphere in order to block the sun in an attempt to cool the planet.
Geo engineering / climate manipulation continues without end apparently. When will this assault end? Do we have no one in our local state or federal governments that are able look at our sky and see the constant spray of chemicals. Thank you for you continued fight to end this. Ken

No one has the right to do anything to block the sun, God put it there for us. This asinine climate change behavior will cause mass starvation due to lower crop yields , plants need sun and carbon dioxide for growth. This planet has had many warm spells and ice ages over the last 4+ billion years. The ice cores that have been taken and analyzed include more when thousand years of information and show exactly that. It's time we stopped using non scientific data and use real science. I seem to remember that the definition of an ice age is that the poles are covered with ice, THEY ARE
All attempts to block the sun are HORRIBLE ideas. We are already in a cooling period. We NEED sunlight! More people die from cold weather than hot weather. More sunlight means more plant growth, which means more food availability! Man cannot outsmart nature. What you plan to do will have serious health consequences for populations, including silicosis. (Is that your real intended goal?) These attempts to modify the climate also end up causing droughts and famine in some areas, and flooding in others. How arrogant are we that we think we can control nature? Only God can control the climate. However, we can wreak great havoc on our health and death by our interventions.

Their business plan is to convince us that “someday” global warming will be a “catastrophe” so they can capture government revenue streams to perform controlled, regulated stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI) to stabilize temperatures. Historically, the earth has gone through warming and cooling cycles and will continue to do so. Stardust is betting against the planet’s natural resilience. Their model depends on the public and governments accepting the idea that we can no longer trust natural cycles and must instead trust industrial scale chemical interventions by private enterprises. This is not just a technological question; it is a profound political and philosophical one about who has the right to manage the Earth’s systems.
Who has the right? Nature itself, or God. Man does not have the right. Man has the obligation to reduce environmental impacts where we can, not add more trying to control it. We don’t need to treat the planet like a chemistry experiment. We need to stop the direct damage we are doing to our air, water, and soil. That is a fight we can actually win. Our duty is to act as guests in a resilient natural system, not as its managers. It is time to demand transparency, protect our environment, and reject the idea that we can engineer our way out of the consequences of our own industrial habits by adding more crap to the atmosphere.
If they are considering blocking out the sun with amorphous silica, then why are they pushing people into using re-newables like Solar Panels.
What would be the point of installing these things if they are not going to work very efficiently because they are blocking out the sun ??

Perhaps people should start burning coal or wood again for their energy. Because they way things are going, especially in the Gulf, that will be the only energy we'll have left to use.
Ever heard of the lung disease SILICOSIS? It is caused by chronic inhalation of silica particles,. the smaller the easier to go farther down into the lungs and the better to get restrictive lung disease with. But you won't know that you got it until 20 years later.....when it will be too late.
